Sooo....
The book Twilight is, if you've never read it before (which is extremely unusual!!!!), about a girl named Bella who falls in love with a vampire named Edward. I guess you should stop reading now if you've never read it...
So, I do think they're are certain things about the book that are pretty good. But all in all, the book really is pretty shallow. OK, in the last book, for example, the key "battle" scene that is supposed to define the whole book is probably close to two pages...maybe a couple more...and the rest of it is practically all RANDOM love scenes....mostly just Bella thinking how gorgeous Edward is, which I think is a pretty nimbobic (nimbobic=stupid...) reason to like someone.
I guess I am pretty prejudiced...especially since I am a huge Jacob supporter, or whatever you'd call it...
Not to sound...uh....critical...but Edward is just too perfect!!! He's supposed to be the stereotypical "Prince" figure...handsome and charming and whatever, and then repeatedly saving the damsel in distress. But aren't we a little past the medieval ages??? Medieval is a hard word to spell...but that's not the point...the point is, Edward's way too controlling and perfect for me.
